Ocotillo Music

Description

"Ocotillo is a unique instrumental duo pairing cello with mandolin or classical guitar. Repertoire includes classical, stage & screen, classic pop, current pop, folk tunes and originals. We offer a choice of packages, which can be customized to your needs. Each package includes introductions that reveal the stories behind the music. --As You Like It. The audience selects what song we'll play next, creating a set list in real time. --Stage and Screen: Music from Broadway, the movies and television. --Classics with a Twist: When you pair mandolin with cello, Bach and his buddies get a new sound. --Love and Heartbreak. Love songs. Drop dead songs. Growing old together songs. --The '60s±. Building on a firm foundation of Beatles songs, we explore pop songs from the 1960s, as well as the '50s and '70s. --Christmas, secular and sacred."
