Duo Ocotillo
Description
Duo Ocotillo uniquely pairs cello with mandolin or classical guitar to create music that’s been described as “like therapy you didn’t know you needed.”
We offer several programs:
- SONGS AND STORIES: Instrumental music can tell stories just as a ballad can. These original songs written for friends and family tell universal tales that connect with any audience.
- ALL TOGETHER NOW. Audience members choose songs from a menu of choices that reflect musical traditions from across the centuries and around the globe.
- BACH TO THE FUTURE. Even if you’ve never listened to one note of classical music, you’ve heard J.S. Bach. For a guy who's been dead nearly 300 years, Bach continues to have an incredible influence on contemporary pop songwriters.
- STAGE AND SCREEN: Music from Broadway, the movies and television.
- CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY MUSIC.
