Description
My Variety Show features wondrous magic, professional yo-yo tricks, juggling, and a Name That Tune game (where the winner gets to be the assistant for one of my best tricks).
Audiences of all ages stay focused and amazed, not only because my performance has been honed over decades, but also because my background as a classroom teacher enables me to cultivate critical-thinking skills. I demonstrate how magicians use techniques such as misdirection of attention to succeed at creating illusions of magic. This "behind-the-scenes" approach encourages young people to pursue the hobby of magic.
My fast-moving yo-yo presentation of 60 tricks is jam-packed with engaging and humorous commentary, with never a dull moment.,/p>
