These stories helped him develop a passion and exuberance for all things prickly, pointy, venomous, and creepy, and fueled his desire to travel the world hiking, swimming, climbing, and clambering in search of amazing creatures. His forays into wild places are frequent and legendary and his unique brand of comedy and memorable antics have been enjoyed by tens of thousands around the world as he shares his stories of excitement and wonder. He is the co-author and star of the iBook series “It's a Wild, Wild World With Wildman Phil” and co-starred with Brave Wilderness YouTube sensation Coyote Peterson in episodes of the Emmy Award winning series “Breaking Trail” and “Coyote's Backyard” where he encourages folks to get together with their wildlife friends. He and his animals have appeared in Ghost Adventures, The Conan show with Conan O'Brien, and numerous other TV shows around the globe.
